Behind an abandoned summer cottage, deep in the woods, I stumbled upon this scene. The sun came through the trees and hit the cross like a natural spotlight. With the limited dynamic range of my digital camera it was tough capturing the full range of the light. However, that contributed in a very natural way to giving the scene a very dark and somewhat creepy feeling.
