International Open Call for NYC Art Show

A group called, Artists Wanted, has sent out an international open call for photography submissions to their 2nd Annual Artists Wanted: Year in Review. From Artists Wanted:

One creative visionary will be selected to receive an exclusive feature booth in NYC this March at SCOPE Art Show, the premier showcase for international emerging contemporary art and one of the most influential presences in the expanding global art market. Our goal is simple – to find amazing talents and expose them to the world in the most potent way possible.

Get your work reviewed by leaders in the industry from SCOPE Art Show, Civilian Art Projects, New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), Printed Matter, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), ArtStars*, ARTberlin.de, Independent Curators International (ICI), Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney (MCA) and New York Photo Festival (NYPH).

This could be a great opportunity for you to work on your portfolio and to try to make a splash on the New York City art scene. If you have a consistent body of work, I would suggest that you take the opportunity to submit your images.

Submissions are being accepted through January 31, 2012, 11:59pm EST.
