Wall Street Bull

The Bowling Green Bull, best known as the Wall Street Bull, is a New York City icon. Often surrounded by people, it is difficult to capture a unique and uncluttered perspective of this tourist attraction. Arriving at 7:15 am, when temperatures were well below zero, seemed to be the answer.

Ellis Island is not only an historic site, it is a beautiful place to visit. The stories that are represented are soulful and touching. The building there has been restored to a beauty that befits it’s importance in American history.

St. Patrick’s Memorial Flags

Twice now I have had the pleasure of being in New York City and witnessing the St. Patrick’s Parade. I have to say that St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year, and to be able to celebrate in New York City was special; to have had the luck to be there twice is beyond belief!
